Leadership & Involvement

My leadership experiences have allowed me to grow as a communicator, storyteller and collaborator while contributing to the University of Cincinnati community. Through student organizations, campus leadership and professional opportunities, I’ve developed experience in media, marketing, event planning, team leadership and community engagement.

University Honors Program

As a Global Citizen Scholar in the University Honors Program, I’ve pursued interdisciplinary learning, leadership and professional development opportunities while connecting my journalism education to broader perspectives and experiences.

Sisters Impacting Sisters

As Social Media & Marketing Director, I lead SIS’s digital strategy, create content and promote events and initiatives that strengthen member engagement and expand the organization’s presence across the University of Cincinnati. I previously served as Secretary, building my leadership experience within the organization.

Society of Sport Leaders

As a Creative Team Member, I contribute to the organization’s marketing and digital storytelling efforts by creating content that promotes events, engages members and strengthens its brand while developing my skills in sports communications.

National Association of Black Journalists

As a member and NABJ Scholar, I engage in networking and professional development opportunities while building connections with journalists and media professionals. I was also honored to receive an NABJ scholarship recognizing my academic achievement and commitment to journalism.
